Once upon a time, in the land of podcasts, a willowy girl with a nervous face and sweaty palms walked up a short flight of stairs to a wooden stage. It was empty but for a single, thin stand, affixed to the top of which was a microphone.
A bright light shone down from the dark heavens to fall upon the centre of the stage, where the girl was told to stand. Though everything was black, she could feel the crowd’s eyes upon her and feel their collective anticipation. She took in a deep breath and began to tell her story.
